Random thoughts.
” I can show you the world, Shining Shimmering Splendid….” Yup, thats the line from ‘A Whole New World’ from Disney’s Aladdin. I loved the movie, well I still love it. This is going to sound really crazy and redundant but don’t you think that the line sounds like its been ripped off a drag queen’s opening act? Shining, Shimmering Splendid. Haha. I know right, I have nothing better to do than to think of such associations. The effects of having too much time on my hands. Hahaha.
Graduation is coming up. This monday, am not really psyched for it. I don’t know why. I mean it should be a happy occasion, celebrating the day I get my degree, 4 years of hard work. But there is no feeling. I dont feel extremely happy nor do I feel as though I’ve accomplished something. I guess sometimes I still feel as though I’m a big failure who screwed up academically. Hence nothing to be really proud of I guess. arrgh.
Went to Hongkong recently. It’s an amazing city. Vibrant and full of life. I loved the tall buildings and the colourful neon lights of Kowloon. Walking in the midst of the tall buildings with the crowds really did something for me. I love crowds and busy cities. I’m such a city boy. Not to mention the good food, and the amazing venues for shopping. Singapore should consider bringing H&M down. It would really appeal to the public. Anyways, yup If I had the chance, I would move to Hongkong. The hustle and bustle of city life is amazing.
